Such a pretty girl
I'm reading a book called Such a Pretty Girl and it's written by Laura Weiss.
I've only read around 50 pages yet so I haven't quite got the hang of the story yet.
But from what I understand so far the book is about 15 year old Meredith who lives in Estertown, somewhere in USA. Three years ago her father comitted som sort of crime. I'm not sure exactly what he did yet but I think he abused Meredith in some way. Anyway, he got locked up in prison and was going to be locked up for nine years, but after three years the police let him go. That's when the story starts.
I get the feeling that Meredith is a pretty strong girl, which of course came from whatever her father did to her. She doesn't really care about her mother, who absolutely doesn't care about Meredith, and most of all she wants to see her father dead. Her best friend is her neighbour, Andy, whom I guess is around 18 years old.
I don't know if they are friends or more because one time Meredith takes off her bra when they sit together in Andy's bed but then nothing else happened.
I can't say just yet what type of person Meredith really is and I don't know if I'll ever get the answer of that.
She is a girl that has been through something terrible but recovered and became stronger.

Excellent language Alice and a thorough description. Good job! Try to challenge yourself and your writing even more by adding quotes from the text to support your own thoughts. That will make your text even more vivid and personal :-)
